Commercial Biomass
Biomass is used in the form of wood chip, pellets and logs. It is a renewable, low carbon fuel that is already widely available throughout the UK. Its production and use, also brings additional environmental and social benefits. Correctly managed, biomass is a sustainable fuel that can deliver a significant reduction in net carbon emissions when compared with fossil fuels.
Biomass boilers are a brilliant cost-effective heating solution, that can provide heat and hot water to your business. It can be particularly beneficial to those users that have a high heat usage requirement, for instance hotels, office units and wedding venues. The cost of heat generated by biomass, is significantly lower than the cost of heat generated by fossil fuels, this is likely to decrease further with the demand for fossil fuels.
By installing a commercial biomass boiler, it will be a financial benefit and reduce carbon emissions. The financial incentive to invest in wood fuelled systems has been further enhanced by the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
The purpose of this government backed scheme is to encourage investment in renewables. For eligible systems, this guarantees a fixed and index-linked income for every KWH of heat generated. This will provide users with a valuable stream of income, as well as significant reductions to the cost of heat generation.

Biomass Benefits
